Frederick joined the Stillwater team full-time in 2020 after doing a co-op with the firm in 2019. He manages multiple concurrent projects through acquisition, financing, or sale processes, and supports the team’s Business Development efforts. Prior to joining Stillwater, Frederick worked in asset-liability management, where he supported the operations and strategy team in risk control activities and performance attribution reporting.

Fred believes that selling a business is not just about getting high valuations, but finding good strategic fits to ensure that all parties are happy with the outcome.

He holds a Bachelors' (Honours) degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Financial Analysis/Risk Management from the University of Waterloo.

Fred enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and watching sports - particularly soccer - as an avid Werder Bremen and Arsenal supporter.
